All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Willie Eugene Moore, Sr. Funeral services for Willie Eugene Moore Sr., 53, were held Tuesday, August 27, 1996, at 1 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winnfield. Officiating was Rev. Jim Adams, and Rev. Hayward Hossler. Interment was at Beech Creek Cemetery. Mr. Moore passed away Sunday, August 25, following a short illness, at Humana Hospital, Winnfield. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Moore; and two brothers, Bill, and Johnny Moore. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore; three daughters, Carla of Dale City, W. Va., Tina, and Katie of Winnfield; one son, Willie Jr. of Winnfield; six grandchildren of Winnfield and Dale City, W. Va.; his mom, Mary F. Moore of Zwolle; three brothers, Lawrence and wife Joyce of Baldwin, Gerald and wife Louise of Many, Ms. Tina King and Gerald Moore Jr. of Many, David and wife Glenda of Zwolle; seven sisters, Janice Stoker, son Donnie of Houston, Shirley Lowery and William of Winnfield, Daniel Lowery of Texarkana, Tex., Amy and husband Pete Corley, and Brad, and Adam of Ajax, Peggy and husband Bob Groves of Zwolle, Bobby Adair of Winnfield, and Stephen Adair of El Paso, Tex., Alma and husband L. C. Ingles, and Chanon of W. Monroe, Edna Johnson and children of Ohio, Margaret and husband C. R. Hamilton, Beth, John, and Michael of Ft. Worth, Tex. Mr. Moore was a 1960 graduate of Zwolle High School. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family reunions. Pallbearers were Bobby Adair, Adam Corley, Daniel Lowery, Chanon Ingles, James McDuff, Pete Corley, Chuck Stroud, and Bill Ellerbe. Honorary pallbearers were Brad Corley, Jamie Folden, Jacob Wise, John Box, Clint Snelling, and Bobby Barnes. He will be sadly missed and loved always by all his family and friends.
