Mrs. Amanda Murray

  Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Murray, 74, of Florien, who
passed away Feb. 5, after a brief illness, were held Feb. 7, in
the Pine Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. E. C. Browning, and
the Rev. Robert Graham officiating.

  Interment was in Kisatchie Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  She is survived by a son, William Leslie Murray of Maplewood;
three daughters, Mrs. W. F. Herrington, and Mrs. Dan Volk, both
of Florien, and Mrs. Allan Browning of Leesville; three sisters,
Mrs. R. H. Tynes of Florida, Mrs. L. T. Dixon of Coushatta, and
Mrs. Columbus Rice of Dry Prong; two brothers, M. J. Simmons of
St. Cloud, Fla., and Don Simmons of Atlanta, Ga.; nine
grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
