Tom Marr

  Tom Marr, 87, of Many, died Oct. 12, in a local hospital, after
a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Oct. 13, at the Ft. Jesup
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Oliver Roberts, and the Rev. Percy
Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include five sons, Curtis Marr, Floris Marr, and the
Rev. Earl Marr, all of Many, the Rev. Glen Marr, and Milton Marr
of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Pruitt of Zwolle, Mrs.
Murtis Welch of Martin, and Mrs. Viola Patterson of Clinton,
Ark.; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were J. D. Brumley, the Rev. Behan, Eugene Speights,
Buddy Tabor, Johnny LeFeat, and J. D. Webb.
