Johnny Murray

  Johnny Murray, 47, of Many, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, after an
extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Rosie Murray of Many;
four sons, T. J., Jim Allen, James, and Howard Ray, all of Many;
three daughters, Cathy, Bobbie J., and Dea Jane Murray, all of
Many; three brothers, Jack Murray of Orange, Tex. Keffer Murray
of Many, and Saul Murray of Rayville; three sisters, Mrs. Ann
Byles, and Mrs. Lena Behan, both of Many, and Mrs. Ruth Purvis of
Meridian, Miss.

  Funeral services were held in the United Pentecostal Church of
Many, Dec. 19, with the Rev. Bill White officiating. Burial was
in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
