Mrs. Avis K. Moore

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Avis King Moore, 83, of
Many, on Monday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m., in the Calvary Baptist
Church. The Rev. David Chapman officiated. Burial followed in the
Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. Moore died in Lake Charles, Saturday, Aug. 23, at 8 a.m.

  Survivors include three granddaughters, Mrs. Carolyn Doolittle
of Lake Charles, Mrs. Chris Sumpter of Sulphur, and Mrs. Merle
Schukoske of Panama City, Fla.
