Murphy, 66, of Many, died in Shreveport Saturday, at Doctor's Hospital, after a short illness. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. L. W. Taylor, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Many officiating. Burial was in the Bethsadia Cemetery. Survivors include her husband; two sons, James Murphy of Shreveport, and Dewey Murphy or Arlington, Tex.; three daughters, Betty Jordan, and Bobbye Fletcher, both of Lake Charles, and Mary Thomas of Columbus, Ga.; seven brothers, J. H. O'Banion of Longview, Tex., Ed O'Banion of Zwolle, Jake O'Banion of Walla Walla, Wash., Charles O'Banion of Haughton, Tex., Verna Lock, Raymond Lock, and Jewell Lock, all of Beaumont, Tex.; six sisters, Mrs. Louis Mills of Shreveport, Mrs. B. F. Grice of Lulling, Texas, Mrs. J. W. Gambin of San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. E. L. Cox of DeRidder, and Grace Shoulders, and Mrs. Ed Smith, both of Hughes Springs, Tex.; and 11 grandchildren.
