Cleve Murphy

  Cleve Murphy, 82, of Many, died in Natchitoches on Friday, March
31, at 5 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Beulah Baptist Church on
Sunday, April 2, at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Hoy Leach,
and the Rev. Kenneth Leach. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Murphy is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lavera Murphy of Many;
four sons, Lonnie Murphy of Alvin, Tex., Kirk Murphy, and Ross
Murphy, both of Houston, Tex., and Donald Murphy of Negreet; two
daughters, Mrs. Betty DeBaca, and Patsy King, both of El Paso,
Tex; 13 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
