Interment followed in Old Spanish Cemetery in Zwolle, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Martina, pastor of St. John Berchman's Cathedral officiated. Mrs. Murphy had been born in Zwolle, and was a resident of Shreveport. She was a housewife, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle. She died July 7, in Shreveport. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Sims of Shreveport; son, Robert Ray Rivers of Zwolle; three sisters, Lea Young, and Velma Martin, both of Shreveport, Syble Childs of Zwolle; three brothers, Earnest Castie of Shreveport, Joe Castie of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mack Castie of Lubbock, Texas; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Joey Presley, Roy R. Brammer Jr., Dino Brammer, Roy Brammer Sr., James Manshack, and Luther Sanchez.
