Mrs. Murphey is survived by her husband, T. R. Murphey of Anacoco; a son, Robert L. Murphey of Beaumont, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. W. N. Newton, and Mrs. E. E. Ward, both of Beaumont, Tex., and Mrs. Louis Rahnke, and Mrs. Ralph Salter, both of Sulphur; a brother, George Laughlin of Tomball, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Pat Barrington of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. Walter Smith, and Mrs. Arthur Collier, both of Beaumont, Tex.; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Untied Pentecostal Church of Anacoco, July 4, with the Rev. C. D. Thaxton officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Johnnie Flaherty, Wayne Moore, and Ronnie Flaherty. Honorary pallbearers were Jess Williams, Junior Dowden, and Willard Chance.
