Mrs. Josephine Miers

  Mrs. Josephine Miers, 92, of Anacoco, died in Leesville Friday,
Mar. 26, after an extended illness.

  Survivors include five sons, Jerome, Ben, Arthur Miers of Florien,
and Mark Miers of Bossier City; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Dunn of
Westlake, Mrs. Lola Marze of Anacoco, and Mrs. Odessa Marze of
Merryville; 38 grandchildren, and 100 great-grandchildren.

  Services were held in the Anacoco First Baptist Church Sunday, Mar.
28, at 2 p.m., with Elder J. M. Peterson, and Elder Perry H. Miers
officiating, with burial in the Clearwater Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Thurman Miers, LaWayne Miers, Benny Miers, Dale Miers,
Luther Marze, and Alvin Marze.
