Mrs. Arthur Miers

  Mrs. Arthur Miers, 83, of Florien, died Sunday at 12:20 a.m., after
an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m., in the Clearwater Baptist
Church, with Elder H. H. Burns Jr. officiating. Burial was in the
Clearwater Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband; a son, Lonnie Miers of Florien; two
daughters, Mrs. C. H. Mitchell, and Mrs. Edna Denton, both of Florien;
a brother, J. F. Dunn of Westlake; four grandchildren, and four
great-grandchildren.
