The Sabine Index - John Joseph Meyers

  20 Dec 1957 - Last rites for John Joseph Meyers, age 76, who
died Thursday, Dec. 12, was conducted at Hixon Funeral Home,
Alexandria at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13. Interment was in St. Paul
cemetery, Lecompte under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Surviving relatives are sons, John Bennie Meyers of Texas City,
Texas; Louis G. Meyers of Zwolle, Dorrell A. Meyers of Mansfield;
daughters, Mrs. J. T. Francis, of Alexandria, Mrs. Guy Sistrunk
of Leesville; sisters, Mrs. Louis Green of New Orleans, Mrs.
Walter Burks of New Orleans; brothers, Gus, Louis and Albert
Meyers all of Covington; half-sister, Lillian Larange of New
Orleans, and 9 grandchildren.
