Lonzo Morris

  Lonzo Morris, 81, of Many, died in Fraser Hospital on Wednesday,
August 9, at 2:25 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Mr. Morris is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Morris of Many;
two daughters, Mrs. Helen Rains of Many, and Mrs. Willie Ethel
Boydstun of Natchitoches; one son, James P. Morris of Dothan,
Alabama; one brother, Mrs. L. H. Morris of Longview, Tex.; and
one sister, Mrs. Robert Armour of Many. Also surviving are three
grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the Calvary Baptist Church on
Friday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Wayne Reeves, and Dr.
Rod Smith officiating. Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
