A. Leon Myers

  Albert Leon Myers, 79, of Converse, died Friday, Nov. 9, after a
long illness.

  Services were held at 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, in San Patricio
Baptist Church near Converse, with the Rev. Bobby Moore
officiating. Burial followed in the Converse Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include two sons, James S. Myers of Lake Charles, and
Olin Dean Myers of Sibley; three daughters, Mrs. O. H. Edgell of
Converse, Mrs. Herbert Jones of Heflin, and Mrs. R. B. Richardson
of Pioneer, two brothers, Henry Myers of Converse, and Sidney
Myers of Leesville; two sisters, Virginia Baggett of Center, Tx.,
and Rena Lovett of Logansport; 23 grandchildren; 32 great
grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
