Arthur Miers

  Mr. Arthur Miers, 91, passed away Thursday, February 24, 1983,
at 1 a.m., at his residence in Florien, after a short illness.

  Services were held Friday, February 25, at 2 p.m., at the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at the
Clearwater Cemetery. Elder Harry Burns, and Elder Vernon Griffin
officiated.

  He is survived by one son, Lona Miers, Florien; two daughters,
Mrs. Edna Denton, and Mrs. Elverta Mitchell, both of Florien;
four brothers, Jermal Miers, Ben Miers, and Lemuel Miers, all of
Anacoco, and Mark Miers of Bossier City; two sisters, Lena Dunn,
Westlake, and Odessa Marze, Merryville; four grandchildren; and
five great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Bruce Miers, Marcel Miers, Dale Miers, Truman
Miers, Audie Mitchell, and W. F. Thomas.
