Mrs. Evelyn S. Meyers

  Mrs. Evelyn S. Meyers of Zwolle, passed away, Monday, Nov. 21,
at the Sabine Medical Center in Many, at 9:14 p.m. She was 72.

  Services for Mrs. Meyers were held on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the
St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with Father Gustave
Bergeron officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

  She is survived by her husband, Louis G. Meyers Sr., of Zwolle;
one son, Louis G. Meyers Jr., Zwolle; one daughter, Mrs. Emilie
Maxey, Hemphill, Tex.; four brothers, Guy Sistrunk, Zwolle,
Monroe Sistrunk, Mansfield, Morris Sistrunk, Grapevine, Tex., and
Marion Sistrunk, Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. John McComic,
New Orleans, and Mrs. Alice Ryan, Pleasant Hill; and four
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were John Francis, Wilmer Lindsey, Hulon Sistrunk,
Ted Francis, Derrell Meyers Jr., Jackie Sistrunk, Pete Sistrunk,
and Thomas Ray Sistrunk.

  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home in Many.
