Elder Truman Keel, and Elder Rueben Monk officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Cemetery near Florien, La. Plans were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, La. Mrs. Miers, born in Florien, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 1983, at her residence in Anacoco, after a short illness. She was a member of the Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Rosepine, La. She is survived by her husband, Ben E. Miers of Anacoco; three sons, Terry ?. Miers of Monroe, La., Sidney S. Miers of North Hollywood, Calif., and Benny Rance Miers of Springhill, La.; two brothers, Hayden Evans of Hornbeck, La., and Hershell Evans of Florien; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Bennie Evans, Truman Miers, Wendell Miers, Sherman Miers, Gary Miers, and Bennie Miers.
