All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Alfred Oscar Morse Services for Alfred Oscar Morse, 79, of Zwolle, were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 1985, at the Jennings Chapel Church, with burial following in the Jennings Chapel Cemetery near Marthaville. Mr. Morse died Wednesday, in a local hospital, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Eldridge, Texas, was a former resident of Houston, and resided in Zwolle for 3 years. He was a retired maintenance contractor. Survivors include his wife, Olivia Morse of Zwolle; 6 daughters, Dorothy Lucas of Victoria, Bonnie Dans of Marthaville, Mickey Feese of Houston, Sandy Sepulvado of Zwolle, Betty Neal of Cotulla, Texas, and Margo Timmons of Granbury; 3 sons, James Williams Morse, Jimmy Douglas Morse, and Alan Dale Morse, all of Houston; a number of grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren; 1 brother, James Duley Morse of Monroe, Louisiana; 1 sister, Dora Roberts of Kansas City, Kansas. Gipson Funeral Home were the directors.
