Lemuel C. Miers

  Funeral services for Mr. Lemuel C. Miers of Anacoco, were held
Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church in
Anacoco, with Elders Rubin Monk, Truman Keel, and Perry Miers
officiating. Burial was in Clear Water Cemetery. Services were
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Miers died Monday, Jan. 14, 1985, at his residence, at 12:15
a.m. He was 71 years old.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lea Evans Miers of Anacoco;
three sons, Pat Miers of Atlanta, Tex., Dale Miers of Shreveport,
and Truman Miers of Monroe; two grandchildren, Glen Dale Miers of
Shreveport, and Kelly Ann Miers of Monroe; three brothers, J. M.
Miers, and Ben Miers of Anacoco, and Mark Miers of Bossier City;
two sisters, Odessa Marze of Merryville, and Lena Dunn of West
Lake.
