Father Stephen Wright, associate pastor of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, officiated. Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Morris died at 8:30 a.m., Monday, August 19, 1985, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a long illness. He was born in Camden, N. J., and was a former resident of Shreveport, La. Mr. Morris was a retired U. S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, and was also retired as a letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service. He was Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Lula Morris of Zwolle; one daughter, Betsy Morris of Shreveport, La.; two aunts, Eleanor Draude of Margate, N. J., and Miriam Suplee of Sarasota, Fla. Pallbearers were Richard Vantiem, Glen Crow, Herman Palmer, William Atkins, John Banks, Charles Potter, John "Brother" Crow, and R. C. Aldridge.
