Louis Gewel Meyers, Sr.

  Mr. Louis Gewel Meyers Sr., 70, of Zwolle, died Wednesday, July
1, 1987, in Hemphill, Texas.

  He is survived by one son, Louis G. Meyers Jr. of Zwolle; one
daughter, Emilie Maxey of Hemphill, Texas; two sisters, Louise
Francis, and Hursel Sistrunk, both of Alexandria; three
grandsons; one great granddaughter; one step granddaughter; one
step grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Mr. Meyers was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Meyers.

  Funeral services for Mr. Meyers were held Friday, July 3, at 10
a.m., in St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Zwolle, with Father Earl
Provenza officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

  Arrangements were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home in Many.
