Billy Ray Morris, Sr.

  7 Nov 1968 - Funeral services for U. S. Air Force T/Sgt. Billy
Ray Morris, Sr., of Groves, Texas were held in the First Baptist
Church of Groves, Wednesday, Oct. 30. Burial was in Greenlawn
Memorial Park.

  T/Sgt. Morris was one of 24 men killed in a plane crash Monday,
Oct. 21 in South Vietnam. He was on his second tour of duty in
Vietnam having been a Career man with 17 years of service. He was
a member of the First Baptist Church of Groves.

  Listed among the survivors is his grandmother, Mrs. S. D.
Jackson and an Uncle Newt L. Jackson both of the Mt. Olive
Community.
