John V. Morris

  Funeral services for John Vallie Morris, 79, of Jasper, were
held at 2 p.m., Jan. 14, in Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel,
with the Rev. Harold Spann officiating. Burial will be in Low's
Chapel Cemetery.

  Mr. Morris died Jan. 13, in St. Augustine Memorial Hospital,
following a lengthy illness.

  Survivors are three sons, B. F. Morris of Richardson, J. T.
Morris of Ruston, James Morris of St. Augustine; one step-son,
Monte Street of Jasper; one step daughter, Mrs. Frank B. Jolly of
Jasper; three sisters, Mrs. G. W. Hooker of Zwolle, Mrs. T. E.
Carroll of Henderson, and Mrs. A. F. Johnson of Port Lavaca; 17
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
