Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 8, at 2:30 p.m., at the Oak Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gerald Martin, and the Rev. Ralph Stevens officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors are two sons, Grady Morris of New Orleans, and J. C. Morris of Many; two brothers, Harris Williams, and Luther Williams, both of Many; three sisters, Lula Stroud of Hemphill, Texas, Mrs. Lee Tarpley of Shreveport, Addie Williams, and Florence Slater, both of Many. Pallbearers were Charles Oxley, Robert Speights, Bobby Ray Tarpley, Charlie Cook, Kenneth Walker, and Horace Maxie.
