Morgan, 39, of Elm Grove, died at 2;15 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, in Willis-Knighton Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Services were at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in the Bossier City Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Martin Miller of Koran Baptist Church, and the Rev. W. D. Stogner, former pastor of Waller Baptist Church. Burial was in Haughton Cemetery. A Shreveport native, Mr. Morgan had lived in the Bossier area most of his life. He was a retired mechanic for Red River Motor Co., a deacon of the Koran Baptist Church, and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jeaneet Morgan of Elm Grove; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Morgan of Bossier City; one son, Karl Michael Morgan of Elm Grove; two daughters, Anita Kay Morgan, and Teresa Lynne Morgan, both of Elm Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Hicks, and Mrs. Mildred Yates, both of Bossier City, and Mrs. Josephine Jennings of Marthaville; two brothers, Hugh C. Morgan of Bossier City, and Dewey W. Morgan of Haughton. Pallbearers were Bill Fentress, Ben Crocker Jr., David Carroll, Herman Owens, Herbert Hill, Fred Wright, Buddy Kenner, and Robert Green.
