Marsing Robert Coleman Marsing, son of Daniel Norman, and Bonnie Hardy Marsing of Green River, Wyoming, was killed Sept. 30, in an airplane crash in Lehi, Utah, Butterworth Point. Robert, "Bob", was born June 16, 1956, in Flagstaff, Arizona. He lived in Tuba City, Ariz., until 1964, when his family moved to Moab, Utah. He attended school in Moab, and graduated from Grand County High School in 1974. He entered Shreveport Draughton Norton College in Shreveport, completing an art course in 1975. He worked as an illustration artist in fashion advertising in Alexandria, where he lived until March of this year. He then moved to the Houston, Texas area to pursue his career. Bob was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the Galveston Ward, where he was Group Leader of the Young Adults, He, along with six other young adults from the Houston Stake, were enroute to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the 147th Semi-Annual Conference of the church. Bob is survived by his parents; two brothers, Mark Eldon of Green River, Wyoming, and Daniel Norman Marsing, Jr., who is stationed with the U. S. Navy at Alameda, California; his grandmother, Laverne Marsing Chidester; and grandfather Coleman Albert Hardy of Shreveport, La., and Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by an infant brother, Roy Glen. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 10, in Green River, Wyoming, at the Fourth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Interment was Oct. 11, at the Lambertown Cemetery, Robeline, Louisiana, with Bishop Glen Hardy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officiating.
