Funeral services were held at Good Hope church Tuesday directed by the Dennis funeral home. The services were conducted by Rev. Martin of Anacoco and Rev. McCloud of Leesville. Mrs. Morrison was reared in Vernon parish and had spend all of her life there. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist church all of her church life, also attended the public schools in this church building in her early childhood. She and Newt Morrison were married in 1906 and have lived in the same community all of these years. They have been blessed in all these years with health and this short sickness came as a hard blow to Mr. Morrison and all who knew Mr. Morrison. Mrs. Morrison is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Inez Beckom and one son, Try Morrison, both of Hornbeck; two brothers, T. J. Farris and Ivey Farris of Anacoco; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ferrell and Mrs. Charley Robinson, both of Anacoco, and a host of relatives and friends.
