Carson LaCaze, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. A Rosary was held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, at the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Mr. Morrison died Monday, May 4, 1987, in Shreveport. He was the Principal of the School Away from School for the Caddo Parish School Board. He worked for the Caddo Parish School Board for 29 years, as a teacher, counselor, and administrator, having taught at many different schools in Shreveport. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. LaVerne Lee Maxey Morrison; two daughters, Dana Marie Reed, and Gay Lee Self; a son, Kenneth Edward Morrison of Shreveport; one sister, Sue Ann Carroll of Taylor, Ark.; two brothers, James Howard Morrison, and Kenneth Davis Morrison of DeQuincy; and three grandchildren. Mr. Morrison was a former resident of Zwolle; and was the Author of a "History of Zwolle".
