Mrs. May Morrison

  Funeral services were held Thursday, April 8, for Mrs. May T.
Morrison, 77, who passed away Wednesday, April 6, after an
extended illness, in West Monroe. The Rev. W. H. Bengston
officiated at the services, which were held in the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home Chapel, and was assisted by Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald.
Interment was in Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were O. B. Campbell, Elden Dees, Jack Lucius, Eustis
Edwards, Herbert Gandy, and Dock Lucius.

  Surviving are a son, Oscar J. Morrison of Houston; one daughter,
Mrs. Jack Layton of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two brothers, Dr. A. B.
Tramel of Many, and Jimmy Tramel of San Rafael, Calif.; three
sisters, Mrs. Bessie Builtman, and Miss Pearl Tramel of Many, and
Mrs. Sidney Lafaregue of Shreveport; three grandchildren; and
three great grandchildren.
