LaVerne Catherine Mercer

  Funeral services for LaVerne Catherine Mercer, 74, were held at
Pisgah Baptist Church, on Monday, April 13, at 10 a.m. Reverend
Belsha officiated. Interment followed in Pisgah Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Mercer died Saturday, April 11, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  She is survived by two sisters, Maudine Slay of Hornbeck, and
Edith Mitchell of Danuba, Calif., and one niece, Quinda Bonner of
Hornbeck.
