Mrs. Karen Ann Merritt (Photo)

  Mrs. Karen Ann Merritt, 25, of Many, died in Shreveport, on May
17, 1987.

  Services were held at Alford Heights Baptist Church, on May 21,
1987, at 10 a.m., with Father Kenneth Williams, and Rev. Joe Dan
Franklin officiating. Burial was at Little Flock Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, Kurt Merritt of Many; her mother,
Gladys Lane of Mableton, Ga.; one sister, Debra Jo Neal of Bay
City, Tex.; three brothers, Ralph Lane of Germany, Michael Dwayne
Lane of Many, and Richard Allen Lane of Many; grandparents, Rev.
Howard and Reba Arnold of Summerville, La.; great grandmother,
Lottie Alford of Florien; and a host of nieces and nephews.
