Officiating was Rev. Vernon Liddie, pastor of Southern Hills Free Methodist Church. Graveside services were at 3 p.m., Thursday, in Springridge Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. Mrs. Moorehead died August 30, 1994, at Bossier Medical Center, after a sudden illness. She was a former resident of Shreveport, and had resided in Bossier City for the past three years. Mrs. Moorehead was a homemaker, a member of the Southern Hills Free Methodist Church, and the La. Cooperative Extension, Bossier chapter. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Litton; and brother, Harold Von Litton. Survivors include her mother, Loree Durr of Bossier City; three sons, Philip Moorehead and wife Doris of Bossier City, David Moorehead and wife Cheryl of Shreveport, and Mark Moorehead of Shreveport; one daughter, Karen Elliott of Shreveport; three sisters, Laverne Madden of Benton, Gloria Coats of Bossier City, and Rosemary Meshell of Stonewall; one brother, Donald Ray Litton of Shreveport; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
