Moritz A mass of Christian burial was conducted at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for Leonard F. Moritz, 85, of Shreveport Monday, Nov. 22, 1999 at 2 p.m. Celebrating the Mass was Father Pike Thomas. Interment followed in Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Moritz was born in Ravenna, Nev. and moved with his parents, Herbert and Lucia Wroblewski Moritz, to Shreveport at a very young age. He was retired from the Exxon Co. and A. B. B. Lummis Ce. Co. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus since 1943. He was a dedicated member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Clydie Cates Moritz; one son, Michael Lynn Moritz and wife Sharon of Shreveport; one daughter, Helen Everett Moritz, of Cleburne, Texas; six grandchildren, Jeffery Everett and wife Kris Anne of Bryan, Texas, Bradley Everett of Houston Texas, Keith Everett of Dallas, Texas, K. Brian Everett of Cleburne, Texas, Matthew and Mark Huffty, both of Shreveport; one great-granddaughter, Ashley Everett; one brother, Clarence A. Moritz and wife Yoland of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Teressa Staton and husband Cariton of Morgan City, and Lucille Hill and husband Garvin of Holden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
