Mrs. Emily Martin

  Mrs. Emily Jane Martin, 93, of Florien, died at 9:30 a.m.,
Sunday, June 23, at her residence.

  She is survived by two sons, Minard Martin of Port Arthur, Tex.,
and Melvin Martin of Florien; three daughters, Mrs. Tommie
Jackson of Hornbeck, Mrs. Mural Dixon of Florien, and Mrs. Marie
Stiffler of Silsbee, Tex., 15 grandchildren, and 18 great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, in
Pisgah Baptist Church, in the Pisgah community, with Rev. Bobby
McCollough officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah cemetery, under
the direction of Vernon's of Leesville.
