Lula Mae Martinez

  Mrs. Lula Mae Martinez, 58, died in her Zwolle residence at
11:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 14, following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of
Zwolle on Friday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m. Father Patrick Scully
officiated. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, Marvin Martinez of Zwolle; seven
sons, Frankie Martinez, Billy Ray Martinez, and Donald Lynn
Martinez, all of Dallas, Cecil Martinez of Zwolle, Daniel
Martinez, Carl David Martinez, and Wayne Martinez, all of
DeRidder; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Runge of DeRidder,
and Mrs. Edna Bell McKnight of Huntsville, Ark.; a sister, Mrs.
Betty Varnell of Shreveport; 27 grandchildren, and 5 great
grandchildren.
