Martin, 59, of Goldonna, died Saturday, April 30, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital of Natchitoches, after a short illness. Services were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, in Goldonna Assembly of God Church, Goldonna, with the Rev. A. S. Davis, and the Rev. O. C. Jones officiating. Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hattie Y. Martin of Goldonna; his mother, Mrs. Lula Mae Martin of Natchitoches; four sons, Walter Lee Martin of Morton, Miss., Donald E. Martin of Shreveport, and Robert Lee Martin, and Leon E. Martin, both of Goldonna; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Grappe of Bossier City, and Rebecca Lynn Martin of Goldonna; five sisters, Mrs. James E. Meyers of Shreveport, Mrs. E. D. Hickman of Haughton, Mrs. W. W. Dove of Natchitoches, Mrs. J. W. Curry of Center, Tex., and Mrs. Tommy Caro of Lubbock, Tex.; seven brothers, W. H. Martin of Greenville, Miss., Earl K. Martin of Shreveport, James T. Martin of Winnfield, Ernest D. Martin, and Guy E. Martin, both of Goldonna, Eddie Martin of Many, and Huey P. Martin of Mangham; and seven grandchildren.
