Survivors include his widow, D. June Martin; two daughters, Alisa Scott of Hamburg, Ark., and Stacey Martin of Bastrop; one stepson, Thomas Franklin of Jacksonville, Fla., one step daughter, Rebecca Simmons of Bastrop; two brothers, Zane G. Martin, and Eugene Martin, both of Bastrop six sisters, Nell Craig of Valliant, Okla., Betty Williams of Fred, Tex., Yvonne Lowrey, and Peggy Wallace, both of Bastrop; Marilyn Boone of LeCompte, and Joan Gravis of Evadalle, Tex, his mother, Ruth C. Martin of Bastrop; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 11, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel, and at the Bonita Road Baptist Church. Officiating at the 10 a.m. chapel service was the Rev. Lee Dickson, and officiating at the church services were Rev. Don Williams, and the Rev. Lee Dickson. Burial was in the Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were carpenters of Local (IPCO) International Paper Co., Denis Smith, Hugo Hughes, Wesley Garrett, Darrin Branch, Lewis couch, and Luther Del Rio.
