Ellis Martinez

  Funeral services for Mr. Ellis Martinez of Vidor, Tex., were
held Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Cemetery, with
Father Scanlon officiating. Services were under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Martinez died Monday, Nov. 15, 1982, at the Schlesinger
Geriatric Center in Beaumont, Tex. He was 53 years of age.

  Surviving relatives include two brothers, James Garcie, El
Dorado, Ark., Willie J. Martinez, Port Neches, Tex.; one half
brother, Franklin Chester, Lumberton, Tex.; two sisters, Lizzie
Roberts, Bethany, Louise Chester, Shreveport; and his mother,
Mrs. Ela Martinez Chester of Shreveport.
