Linda Evie Martin

  Linda Evie Martin, 64, of Hornbeck, died at her residence on
Thursday, Dec. 31, at 11:15 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at Old Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
in Hornbeck, on Friday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m. Burial was at Florien
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Officiating were the Rev. Robert Graham, and Rev. Chester
McInnis.

  Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, Cheat C. Martin of Hornbeck;
two daughters, Mrs. M. Loraine Melms of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Mary
C. Tilly of Anacoco; two brothers, Lester Glaspie of Leesville,
and David Glaspie of Hornbeck; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Warmack
of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Rosa Estes of Leesville, and Mrs. Martha
Mitchell of Hornbeck; eight grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.
