Melvin Martinez, Sr.

  Services for Mr. Melvin Martinez, 73, of Many, were held at 10
a.m., Tuesday, April 30, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Msgr.
Matthew Scanlon officiated.

  Mr. Martinez passed away at 10:18 p.m., on April 28, 1985, at
the Sabine Medical Center.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Martinez of Zwolle; two
sons, Melvin Martinez, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and Dale
Martinez of Collinsville, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita
Coutee of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Neva Lewis of Jacksonville, Fla.;
one sister, Mrs. Ethel Wethey of Zwolle; 13 grandchildren; and
four great grandchildren.

  Interment was in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
