Mrs. Agnes Martin

  Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Martin, 63, of Provencal, were
held Friday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m., at the Free Methodist Church in
Provencal, with the Rev. Albert Carnline officiating. Burial was
in the Gorum Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis
Funeral Home.

  She died Wednesday, Sept. 18, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Survivors include a son, Alvin Martin of Chestnut; four
daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Smith of New London, Texas, Mrs. Wanda
Robinette of Bossier City, Mrs. Ellen Maxey of Zwolle, and Mrs.
Jeanette Nugent of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Maggie George of
Gorum; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
