All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Mary Louise Martinez Services for Mrs. Mary Louise Martinez, 73, of Zwolle, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle. Father Earl Provenza, Father George Martinez, and Father Patrick Scully officiated. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Martinez died at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1986, at Sabine Medical Center in Many, after a long illness. She was the captain of St. Ann's Circle of St. Joseph Catholic Church, for 21 years, taught religious classes at the C. C. D., and was a substitute teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Martinez; and a daughter, Terry Lynn Harris. She is survived by three sons, Herman D. Martinez of Alexandria, Wayne Martinez of Zwolle, Jimmy Martinez of Shreveport; five daughters, JoAnn Fontenot of Lake Charles, Syble Daigle of Sulphur, Shirley Ezernack of Shreveport, Jeanie Robinson of Many, and Carolyn Klijn of Marshall, Tex.; one brother, Rev. Shafton Quarles of Modesto, Calif.; three sisters, Beatrice Haskins of DeRidder, Helen Sepulvado, and Elizabeth Neal of Zwolle; 25 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Stanley Ezernack, Gary Ezernack, Patrick Daigle, Daryl Ezernack, Bobbie Fontenot, and Stevie Fontenot.
