Mrs. Letha May Ramsey Morton

  Services for Mrs. Letha May Ramsey Morton, 87, of Shreveport,
were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, at the Drewett Memorial
Chapel in Mansfield, with the Rev. R. T. Spivey officiating.
Burial was at the Highland Cemetery in Mansfield.

  Mrs. Morton died Sunday, March 15, 1987, in Shreveport,
following a lengthy illness.

  She is survived by three sons, Vollie E. Morton of El Dorado,
Ark., Lawrence H. Morton, and Jesse R. Morton, both of
Shreveport; five daughters, Odessa Allbriton, and Millie Gray,
both of Shreveport, Katie Bartlett of Alto, Tex., Dot Raimond of
Norphlet, Ark., Wanda Mantooth of Stanley, La.; 18 grandchildren;
a host of nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, C. D. Morton of
Mansfield; three sisters-in-law, Cora Morton of Mansfield,
Elizabeth Ramsey of Many, and Madge Morton of Mansfield.
