  Mr. Frank Marvin Martinez, 71, died in Shreveport, on August 30,
1987.

  Services were held at St. Ann's Catholic Church, on Sept. 1, at
10 a.m., with Father Gilles Boyer officiating. Burial was at St.
Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Frances Taylor Martinez of Zwolle;
six sons, Frankie Martinez of Grand Prairie, Tex., Donald
Martinez, and Billy Ray Martinez, both of Dallas, Daniel
Martinez, and Carl Martinez, both of DeRidder, and Cecil Martinez
of Zwolle; two daughters, Edna Bell Knight of Huntsvill, Ark.,
and Ann Runge of DeRidder; two brothers, Lonnie Martinez of
Zwolle, and Wesley Martinez, also of Zwolle; three sisters,
Blanche Taylor, and Frances Adcock, both of Zwolle, and Clara
Bell Wilkins of Shreveport; one step son, Jimmy Fore of Longview,
Tex.; one step daughter, Marilyn Strickland of Texarkana, Tex.;
and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and ten step
grandchildren.
