Helen Ramsey Martin

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Helen Ramsey Martin, 80, at
3 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel.
Officiating were Rev. Carl E. Rhodes of United Methodist Church
of Minden, La. Burial followed at Forest Park Cemetery.

  Mrs. Helen Ramsey Martin died at Highland Hospital, Sunday, May
26, after a brief illness.

  Mrs. Martin received her degree from Mansfield Female College,
and taught at Zwolle Elementary School.

  She was preceded in death by her son, Logan Meredith Martin Jr.

  She is survived by her husband, Logan M. Martin Sr.; her
daughter, Helen M. Borcier; two sisters, Marie Benoit of Liberty,
Texas, and Margarita Sims of Yantis, Texas; and several nieces
and nephews.

  Pallbearers will be her nephews, Richard Sims, Robert Sims,
Cameron Barr, Preston Barr, Michael M. Richie, J. T. Timmons.

  She was a happy, loving person, who will be greatly missed by
all who knew her.
