Mrs. Paula Morales Martinez

  Services for Paula Morales Martinez were held at 1:30 p.m.,
Friday, Oct. 1, 1993, in St. Joseph Catholic Church of
Cheneyville, with Rev. Chris Nayak officiating. Burial was in St.
Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers of
Alexandria.

  Mrs. Martinez, 90, of Pineville, died at 3:45 p.m., Tuesday,
Sept. 28, 1993, in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

  She was a native of Beaumont, Tex., member of Immaculate Heart
of Mary in Tioga, former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Cheneyville, and was a former resident of Cheneyville.

  Survivors include two sons, Frederick Martinez of Marrero, and
Nash Martinez Sr. of Singapore; four daughters, Toni Reynolds,
and Jane Cozier, both of Tioga; sister, Lucille Martinez of
Mishawaka, Ind., and Frances Peschel of Negreet; thirteen
grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.
