Rev. Arthur Haymon, and Rev. George Bannister officiated. Mr. Martin passed away Jan. 10, 1995, at his residence on Hwy. 6. He was a native of Goldonna, veteran of WWII, U.S. Army, member of the Masonic Lodge #411 of Many, member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and the coordinator for the City of Many. Survivors include his widow, Nadine Beasley Martin of Natchitoches; one son, Douglas Wayne Martin of West Monroe; two daughters, Rhonda Gail Martin of Bossier City, and Sandra Nugent of West Monroe; five sisters, Louise Myers of Coushatta, Bobbie Dove of Winnett, Mont., Robbie Huffman of Richmond, Tex., Melba Caro of Lubbock, Tex., and Ella Mae Hickman of Hall Summitt; three brothers, Johnny Martin of Goldonna, James Martin of Winnfield, and Huey Martin of Hebert; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robbie Lane, Charles Myers, Gene Kavanough, Yancy Martin, Jerry Rochelle, Kenneth Martin, Malcolm Dove, and Dale Martin.
