Lucy Martinez

  Funeral services for Lucy Martinez, 90, will be held at 11 a.m.,
Feb. 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

  Father Danny Walsh will officiate. Interment will be in St.
Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. Martinez passed away at Lagnapippe Hospital in Shreveport,
on Feb. 5.

  Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by a son, J. V. Martinez;
and granddaughter, Janice Procell Wolf; and great granddaughter,
Tammy Louise Martinez.

  Mrs. Martinez was born on Jan. 19, 1905, in Noble, to Patricia
Basco, and Hosea Leone.

  Survivors include her widower, Ludry Martinez of Zwolle; one
son, J. D. Martinez of Austin; two daughters, Dorothy Lopez, and
Merrlie Procell, both of Zwolle; sister, Mary Malmay of Zwolle;
brother, Monroe Sepulvado of Noble; twenty one grandchildren;
thirty five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren;
and a host of nieces and nephews.
