Moran Charles Edward Moran, 65, of Robeline, died in Marrero, following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 13, in the Rocky Mount Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Gandy officiating. Burial was in the Rocky Mount Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, E. J. Moran, Clyde Moran, and Douglas Moran, all of Robeline; two daughters, Mrs. Gracie Bowman, and Mrs. Doris LeBrun, both of Marrero; 20 grandchildren, and one great grandchild; his mother, Mrs. Julia Cutright Walker of Robeline; five brothers, Willie Walker, Natchitoches, Jewell Walker, Fred Walker, Buck Walker, and Eugene Walker, all of Robeline; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Clanton of Ft. Jesup; and a half-sister, Mrs. Clara Withers of Haughton.
