She was a native of Eunice and was a long time resident of Oberlin. She resided in Many for 10 years and was a current resident of Newton, Texas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with interment following at Oberlin Cemetery in Oberlin. Father Jude Brunnert, M. S. officiated. Rosary services was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 in the Ardoin Funeral Home of Oberlin. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Milton Moreno of Newton, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Mitchell of Newton, Texas and Mrs. Patricia Shuff of Lake Charles; two step-daughters, Mrs. Margie Totten of Shreveport and Mrs. Brenda Mitchell of Mabelvale, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Courville of Eunice and Mrs. Rena Riley of Hamshire, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
